Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Program

What is DBT?

A woman leading a support group session with four women in a cozy, well-lit room.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment designed by Dr. Marsha Linehan to treat a broad range of complicated symptoms and concerns. DBT focuses on teaching specific skills to help patients regulate their emotions, communicate more effectively with others, handle distressing experiences and be more mindful of their thoughts, feelings and environment. DBT is useful in treating a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, substance abuse, eating disorders and family conflict.

About the DBT Program

Three women engaged in a serious conversation in a professional setting.

At this time, we offer virtually-held DBT Skills Training Groups led by Grace Lawton, LCSW and Dr. Yanina Gonzales Blanchard PsyD. Due to the nature of DBT therapy, you must be in individual therapy in order to join the group. Before joining a DBT Skills Group, you must first complete an initial consultation with the clinician leading the preferred group. These groups are self-paid.

DBT Skills Groups

To enroll in one of our DBT programs, please reach out to Yanina Blanchard or Grace Lawton, based on the program you wish to join.
