Katharine “Kim” Larsson, PhD, PMHCNS-BC
Dr. Kim Larsson (she/her) is a doctoral level, psychiatric mental health clinical nurse specialist, board certified, who has practiced as a psychotherapist and psycho-pharmacologist for over 20 years. Her main areas of expertise include: integrative psychotherapy, behavioral medicine, and psycho-pharmacology. Dr. Larsson underwent clinical training at Harvard Medical School through McLean Hospital and The Cambridge Hospital. She is former Assistant Director of the Behavioral Medicine Program at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston, and a former supervisor in the Behavioral Medicine Program at Cambridge Health Alliance. Dr. Larsson obtained a doctoral degree in nursing from Boston College. She has conducted research applying phenomenological nursing approaches to the study of medically unexplained physical symptoms in primary care. She has carried out international work in Japan as a lecturer and consultant, helping to promote the development of behavioral medicine approaches among nurses and mental health clinicians.

Amaro Laria, PhD
Dr. Amaro Laria (he/his) is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist. His main areas of expertise include integrative psychotherapy and behavioral medicine. He uses a patient-centered integrative approach that highlights the centrality of the therapeutic relationship and the role of emotions in treatment. Dr. Laria is director of the Boston Behavioral Medicine Training Program, and holds a faculty appointment as Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School through his affiliation with the Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance. He obtained his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at University of Massachusetts Boston in 1997, and was a NIMH post-doctoral research fellow in the Social Medicine Department at Harvard Medical School. He has conducted research and published in the areas of culture and mental health, and behavioral medicine. He served as advisor on cultural issues to the DSM-5 workgroup on anxiety disorders. Dr. Laria is fluent in Spanish (native speaker).
Kim Faris, PsyD
Dr. Kimberly Faris (she/her) is a licensed clinical health psychologist specializing in a combined approach of integrative and behavioral medicine. As she believes in treating the complete individual she uses a spiritual foundation along with other modalities such as, DBT, CBT, hypnosis and relational therapies. With this approach she treats a wide range of behavioral and emotional concerns such as, addiction, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorders, as well as general existential and spiritual concerns.

Clay White, LICSW
Clay White (he/his) is a clinical social worker who received his MSW at Boston College in 1989. His areas of specialization include substance abuse; trauma; gay, lesbian and transgender issues; and anxiety and depression. He completed the Intensive Program in Family Systems Therapy and the Couples’ Therapy Program at the Cambridge Family Institute, and is a former member of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute in the Advanced Training Program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He has also received training in cognitive behavioral therapy and uses an integrative psychotherapy approach.
Yanina Blanchard, PsyD
Dr. Yanina Gonzales Blanchard (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialization in eating disorders and interests on other issues, such as relationship problems, stress management issues, life transitions, adjustment disorders, acculturation issues, depression and anxiety disorders among others. She helps patients to be able to gain awareness of their thoughts, feelings and behaviors so they are able to change aspects of themselves or their relationships that are holding them back from having a fulfilling life. In her work, she incorporates insight-oriented techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness and meditation techniques. She provides services in English and Spanish.

Kate Wilson, LICSW
Katherine L. Wilson, LICSW, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who practices at Boston Behavioral Medicine and in the Division of Sports Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to treating the behavioral health needs of adolescents, young adults, and their families. Her expertise lies in providing empirically based psychotherapy treatment for obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders and eating disorders. She utilizes multiple modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and exposure response prevention (ERP). Her interests lie in working with the construct of perfectionism, specifically its unhealthy manifestations and the ways it interferes with the effective treatment of many psychological disorders. As a former professional ballet dancer with the Pacific Northwest Ballet, she possesses a strong interdisciplinary understanding of dance medicine and sports psychology and works with dancers at all levels.
Anne Sunshine, LICSW
Anne Sunshine (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker, offering individual psychotherapy in a warm and accepting interpersonal environment. She works with adults and adolescents. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, stress reduction, grief and loss, general and developmental transitions, and insomnia. She uses an integrative therapeutic approach that includes mindfulness, relaxation, visualization, values clarification, internal family systems therapy, EMDR and CBT.
Miriam Adams, ScD, LICSW, BCD
Miriam Adams (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Clinical Social Work. She holds a doctorate in Public Health (Harvard University) and a Master of Social Work degree (Simmons University). She has been in private practice since 2005 in both Lexington and Brookline, and has trained and worked in The Cambridge Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Two Brattle Center, Wayside Youth and Family Support Network, and is on the clinical advisory team for the Youth Counseling Connection in Lexington, MA. Her approach to psychotherapy is holistic, integrative, relationship-focused and grounded in evidence-based therapies. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of OCD, Health Anxiety, perinatal mental health and parenting concerns. She provides clinical supervision and consultation.

Jack Harari, LICSW
Jack Harari (he/his) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts with 8 years of experience as a psychotherapist. He earned his Master's Degree from the Hunter College School of Social Work in New York City & has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood & personality disorders, relationship issues and career challenges. Jack's therapy style is warm and engaging. He believes in creating a safe space with respect, compassion and open dialogue as a means to building trust. Jack offers clients concrete tools including cognitive & dialectical behavioral techniques that they can practice in sessions together so clients can feel confident utilizing them in their every day life.
Grace Lawton, LICSW
Grace Lawton, LICSW (she/her) is a psychotherapist who provides individual, couples and group therapy to adults. She utilizes an integrative, strengths-based approach to treatment drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness/meditation techniques for the treatment of anxiety, stress management, depression, low self-esteem, family/relationship conflict, and behavioral concerns, such as impulsivity or emotional distress. She received her Master of Science in Social Work at Columbia University after earning her B.S. at Boston University, and has completed additional training at the Beck Institute. Additionally, Grace currently facilitates Boston Behavioral Medicine’s DBT Skills Groups offered virtually on a weekly basis.

Diana Arntz, PhD
Dr. Diana Arntz (she/her) has a doctorate in clinical psychology and is a core staff member at Boston Behavioral Medicine, LLC. She specializes in the treatment of chronic stress, mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, chronic pain, insomnia, substance use disorders, and serious mental illness. Dr. Arntz utilizes a warm, strengths-focused, and collaborative style that integrates cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches with relational perspectives. She has published research studies in behavioral medicine, relational health, addiction medicine, and health disparities. Dr. Arntz is also involved in program development, community partnerships, mental health policy, and advocacy work. Elizabeth Brach, PhD, LICSW
Dr. Elizabeth Brach (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with an M.S. from Columbia University School of Social Work. She also holds a clinical Ph.D. from the Eliot Pearson Department of Child Study at Tufts University and has recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Advanced Psychotherapy from Loyola University. Dr. Brach brings a collaborative compassion-based approach to the therapeutic relationship, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness practice within a psychodynamic framework that includes addressing personal values and goals. Her areas of specialization include anxiety and mood disorders, adjustment disorders, OCD, grief and loss, life transitions, and emotional injuries associated with trauma and shame. She focuses on the centrality of the therapeutic relationship in promoting authentic personal growth through the transformative experience of being heard and understood.
Dr. Brach accepts most insurance plans as well as private pay and treats adults of all ages.
Meredith Morrissey, LCSW
Meredith Morrissey (she/her), LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and BBM affiliated staff providing individual therapy for adults and children. She utilizes an integrative, person-centered approach, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), hypnosis, and mindfulness with somatic and relational approaches. She is especially passionate about working with clients with anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, ADHD, and trauma. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University after earning her B.S. and B.A. at the University of Arizona and has completed additional training through the Beck Institute.

Laura Warwick, MD, MA
Laura Warwick, MD, MS is a mental health counselor specializing in integrative psychotherapy and behavioral medicine. She focuses on the connection among psychological, social and physical health, helping clients navigate through the multidimensional factors that affect their well-being. She provides psychotherapy for adults, couples, and families, working with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and grief, among others. Laura’s approach is compassionate, warm, open, and respectful, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their challenges, process their emotions, and move toward healing. Her practice integrates evidence-based interventions, such as: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. Before becoming a mental health counselor in the U.S.A., Laura trained as a primary care physician in Brazil, where she later did a re-specialization in psychiatry; thus, she brings years of expertise in the nexus of mental and physical health to her work. As a native Portuguese speaker, she also has experience supporting immigrants as they adjust to life in a new country.

Stephanie Wissig, MD, PhD, LCSW
Stephanie Wissig (she/her) is a master’s level clinician who earned her M.S.W. from Simmons University in May of 2025. She uses an integrative, strengths-based approach rooted in psychodynamic theory while drawing from cognitive behavioral, emotion focused, and mindfulness-based techniques as best fits each individual client’s needs. Prior to her career in mental health, Stephanie earned an MD and PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and has worked at healthcare nonprofits and startups developing programs and products to improve patient outcomes and experience. She has also worked as a coach and patient advocate for women and couples experiencing infertility. Stephanie’s experience and clinical interests include working with adults, families, and couples experiencing a broad range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood & personality disorders, relationship issues, trauma, and women’s health/reproductive challenges. She is also trained in biofeedback and clinical hypnosis.
